Peggy spends her days running the skate shop that she acquired in a divorce settlement. When asked if this was how she envisioned her life, she replied with a laugh, “I grew up in Malibu. Everyone surfed or skated, I tanned. My ex was a surfer who competed on the pro circuit. We traveled and had fun, but we eventually realized we wanted different things. I was ready to grow up, he wasn’t. No, this isn’t what I envisioned, but I wouldn’t change a thing.” Peggy now lives in the valley, another adjustment, and her main focus is on building her business, which includes sponsoring a few local skateboarders.
