...which is pretty frikkin funny, you gotta admit. I mean... Think about it.

As the Title states, let's Geek out!

Even though skating is an active "dangerous" sport, I still think 99% of skaters have a bit of the geek in them when it comes to gear. Come on admit it, you've spent hours just clicking away on the net and drooling, planning your next set up. Even spent over an hour deciding on which bearings you NEED!!11! That's right, you've been geeking out, so let's hear about it!

My most recent obsession? My new speedboard.

So, like Don I have a collection of war wounds accumulated over my 2 decades of skating.

-Broken right hand, 2 pins still in
-torn lateral meniscus in my left knee, repaired
-slight bulge between L3 & L4 on my spine, therapy here and there still

As well as various other more minor hippers, cuts, bruises, road rash and massive head impacts.

How about you folks, got some wounds or stories to tell? Remember, no guts no glory, but always wear your safety equipment, especially your helmet!!!

As title states, so you skate? If so, what type of skating. How long? What kind of set up/up's you riding, meaning who has your money, etc.

I've been skating 20+ years. The last 7 longboarding. Nowadays I mostly free ride, downhill and slide. I tend to favor boards from Earthwing out of NYC. My current "go to" board is an Earthwing Supercharger with Randal R-II 180 trucks, Abec 11/Silverfish 'Fishballs wheels with Bones Swiss bearings.

How bout' you?
