Don Wimmer
So JP made this documentary film about me and my training to be a pro skater. Pretty cool, I guess. He even helped me build a rad half-pipe... which didn't suck. And hopefully, JPs movie doesn't suck too bad either. I mean he's no Speilberg, but he's a good guy, so long as he doesn't make me look lame or anything.Check out Don's Blog
Jason Klugman
Anita’s son, artist, video game player. Jason loves skateboarding and spending time with Don. He likes to have someone living with them who is kind of like a dad, but doesn’t ever give him time-outs or try to kiss his mom. Jason was very excited when Don told him that they were going to build a half-pipe in the backyard. Jason says his goals for the future are to go to summer camp or maybe just camping, without his mom, not because he doesn’t love her, but because it would be nice to go to a camp where you get to wear clothes.

Anita Klugman
Artist, mother, creator, teacher. Anita spent a decade on an artist's commune. The results of that experience are many but the most significant and life altering to Anita was the birth of her son Jason. Anita realized early on that her son was special. She glows as she describes his ability to embrace life, his unique energy, and his unbridled curiosity. When asked about Jason’s father, whose identity has never been certain except that he... "must have been one of the beautiful creators who shared the universe with us at the commune." She observes, “Who Jason's father may be is not as important as what he may be. After all, what is a father if not a mother with a penis?
Peggy Kennedy
Peggy spends her days running the skate shop that she acquired in a divorce settlement. When asked if this was how she envisioned her life, she replied with a laugh, “I grew up in Malibu. Everyone surfed or skated, I tanned. My ex was a surfer who competed on the pro circuit. We traveled and had fun, but we eventually realized we wanted different things. I was ready to grow up, he wasn’t. No, this isn’t what I envisioned, but I wouldn’t change a thing.” Peggy now lives in the valley, another adjustment, and her main focus is on building her business, which includes sponsoring a few local skateboarders. She plays an active role in planning local skateboard events and competitions. She also prides herself in her board building ability. Her own board is… “very pretty with great powder blue wheels.” She is also quite fond of her long board, which she occasionally rides with Don.
